“This is Tiger Woods. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU’VE JUST RECORDED YOUR FASTEST 10K” (Tiger Woods to Ferdie Cabiling’s 1hour and 38secs run through the ipod nano.)
Running around our village is a challenge. Cemented pavement. You could hear your knees begging for you to stop. Boring scenery because you go around the circle over and over again.
I knew I could have been faster, but it’s good enough for the day. At least I broke my own record. Running is not about competing against another runner. But it’s a competition against yourself. Your previous record. I will try to catch up with Julius’ new record: finishing 10k in 51 mins(?), last weekend with his daughter Isa.
Few rambling ideas I thought of while running:
1.) What about scheduling my swimming time again?
2.) Go back to the gym for a good strength training.
3.) Find some ways to join the Alabang boys to bike one of these days.
4.) Get Judy to join me in running soon.
5.) Always prepare a gym bag at the back of the car just in case my schedule during the day would permit me to run or hit the gym while waiting for the traffic to subside.
6.) Study more so I can strategize how I can run a decent one for the Condura Race on the 22nd of March.
7.) To make the day complete, find ways to either run , swim, or bike.
Hey, tell me. What else can I do to convince you to start running?
[this is good] To convince me to start running:--put advice for those living in "busy" neighborhoods on how to stay safe--put advice for busy moms on how to work running into the day (I homeschool 3 little ones)--put suggestions of brands and stores "voluptuous" women with the right sizes of good quality sports clothing to "secure" all of our "assets" so that we can glide smoothly instead of flopping down the road--put suggestions of brands and stores for good quality shoes that provide extra support and protection for very large people who are seeking to start running
